Onboarding

Set up in weeks,
not months.

Onboarding is a guided four-week project with a dedicated lead, a clear plan and a confirmed go-live date. The sections below set out what each week covers.

What's included

Onboarding is part of buying the product.

There is no separate setup fee. Configuration, training and go-live support are all included in the annual subscription.

Guided account setup

We configure your academic sessions, classes, fee heads and fee structures with you, so the system matches how your school actually runs.

Fee structure configuration

Your terms, your concession rules, your late-fine slabs, your numbering format. Set up exactly, not approximated.

Role and permission setup

Built around your team's responsibilities: principal, accountant, front office, teacher and parent, plus any custom roles you need.

Training for your team

Role-based sessions for accountants, administrators and class teachers. Recordings and quick-reference guides included.

A sandbox to practise in

Your team explores a populated sandbox before go-live, so the first live receipt is not the first one they have ever issued.

Go-live support

We stay reachable through your first collection cycle, so issues get resolved before they reach a queue.

The four-week plan

The same four weeks. Every school. Every time.

A standard four-week plan is run for every school. The structure is deliberate and produces predictable go-live outcomes.

Week 1

Setup.

We map how your school charges, and configure the system to match it.

  • Discovery call to map your fee model: heads, terms, concessions, numbering
  • Academic sessions, classes and sections set up
  • Fee heads and fee structures configured to match how your school charges
  • A populated sandbox made ready for your team to explore
Week 2

Configuration.

Your processes, set up exactly. Not someone else's interpretation of them.

  • Concession, sibling-discount and scholarship rules configured
  • Late-fine slabs and receipt numbering format applied
  • User roles created around your team's responsibilities, granular where needed
  • Payment gateway (Razorpay) connected and verified on a test transaction
Week 3

Training.

Each role learns what it needs, hands-on, in your own sandbox.

  • Role-based sessions: accountants on collection and refunds, administrators on reports
  • Hands-on practice for your team in the sandbox
  • Recordings and quick-reference guides shared per role
  • Open support channel with your onboarding lead, response within two working hours
Week 4

Go live.

You start issuing live receipts, with us on call.

  • You begin issuing receipts from the system
  • Onboarding lead on call through your first collection cycle
  • A 30-minute check-in with your team each day for the first week
  • Closeout pack: configuration record, audit-pack template, support contacts
What onboarding includes

Onboarding is included in the subscription: configuration, training and go-live support are part of buying the product, with no separate setup fee. The scope is set out in your agreement before work begins.

Training

Role-based training, scoped to each role.

Training is delivered per role and timed to what each role actually needs: accountants receive the deep session, class teachers a focused thirty minutes, and the principal a dashboard and reporting tour.

Accountants & cashiers

120 minutes

Fee collection, partial payments, concession application, receipt cancellation, refunds, day-end reconciliation, defaulter follow-up.

Administrators

90 minutes

Student onboarding, structure changes, role management, reports, year-end audit pack, data exports.

Class teachers

30 minutes

Attendance, parent communication for their section, fee-status visibility (read-only by default).

Principal & management

45 minutes

Live dashboards, multi-campus view, approval flows, audit log review, concession registers.

All sessions are recorded and shared back as a private library. Quick-reference guides are available for download per role.

P2

Major (a feature is broken, workaround exists)

Common questions

Questions before you say yes.

Yes. During onboarding we configure your sessions, classes, fee heads, fee structures, concession rules and roles with you, so the system reflects how your school runs from day one.
No. There is no software to install. We need email addresses for the people who will get logins, and an hour with your accountant on the discovery call. That is it.
We schedule go-live for a low-traffic week wherever possible, usually after a term-end or before a fresh cycle. We plan it around your calendar.
Your dedicated onboarding lead remains your first contact for ninety days. After that, support transitions to the regular support channel with the same SLAs. The product team remains reachable at any point.
Yes. Fee management can go live first, with admissions, communication and reports onboarded over the next term. We recommend a sequence on the discovery call based on your calendar and pressure points.
Nothing beyond the subscription. Configuration, training and go-live support are part of buying the product, with no separate setup fee.

Plan your onboarding window.

Every school has a preferred go-live window: term-end, session-start, before fee invoicing, or after audit close. The four-week plan is scheduled around your calendar.
